Compare Our Workforce Services

Different workforce needs require different service models.

Some companies need help finding talent. Others already have the person they want to hire but need a local employment structure. Some need short-term project capacity, a dedicated workforce in Jordan, or support managing employees they already employ.

Use this comparison to understand how Recruitment, Employer of Record, Recruit & Employ, Nearshoring and Workforce Management differ.

Jordan and Palestine are EmployMENA’s current full-service operational markets. Recruitment has also been delivered for client requirements in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Iraq and Oman.

DECISION GUIDE

Which service fits your situation?

  • “I need candidates and will employ them directly”

Use Recruitment. We help find and assess the talent. Your company makes the final selection and becomes the employer.

    Recruitment
  • “I already know who I want to hire”

Use Employer of Record. Use EOR when the person is already identified and you need a local legal employer and employment administration.

    Employer of Record
  • “I need short-term or project-based professional capacity”

Use Employer of Record. Consultants and contractors for defined assignments sit inside the Employ / EOR journey. The appropriate contractual or employment structure depends on the assignment and applicable requirements, and is confirmed before engagement.

    Short-term and project-based capacity
  • “I need help finding the talent and employing them”

Use Recruit & Employ. EmployMENA recruits, you select the candidate, and we provide the applicable local employment structure and administration.

    Recruit & Employ
  • “I want to build a dedicated workforce in Jordan”

Use Nearshoring. Combine recruitment, local employment/EOR, HR administration and optional workspace to build a dedicated workforce that your company manages day to day.

    Nearshoring
  • “I already employ the workforce but need payroll and HR support”

Use Workforce Management. Your company remains the legal employer while EmployMENA supports agreed payroll and HR administration.

Key Differences to Understand

  • Recruitment

Ends with the client employing the selected person.

  • Employer of Record

Primarily for an identified hire who needs a local employment structure. Short-term consultant and contractor engagements are handled here as a use case.

  • Recruit & Employ

Combines sourcing with the employment structure.

  • Nearshoring

For building dedicated workforce capacity, not for EmployMENA managing the client’s team or project delivery.

  • Workforce Management

Supports administration for a workforce the client already legally employs.

Recruitment vs Employer of Record

Recruitment finds the person and the client employs them directly. EOR is primarily for an identified hire who needs a local employment structure. Under Recruitment the client is the legal employer; under EOR EmployMENA, through Business Alliance, is.

Recruitment vs Recruit & Employ

Both begin with sourcing. Recruitment ends with the client employing the selected person. Recruit & Employ combines sourcing with the employment structure, so EmployMENA, through Business Alliance, becomes the legal employer and administers agreed payroll and HR processes.

Employer of Record vs Recruit & Employ

Both make EmployMENA, through Business Alliance, the local legal employer. EOR suits a person you have already identified; Recruit & Employ adds the sourcing and assessment that comes before the selection.

Nearshoring vs Employer of Record

EOR employs an individual hire. Nearshoring is for building or expanding a dedicated workforce in Jordan that your company manages day to day, combining recruitment, local employment/EOR, HR administration and physical workspace, with equipment as an optional additional service.

Workforce Management vs Employer of Record

Under EOR, EmployMENA, through Business Alliance, is the legal employer. Under Workforce Management the client remains the legal employer and EmployMENA supports the agreed payroll and HR administration around a workforce the client already employs.

Consultants and contractors are not a separate service. The requirement is served within the Employ / EOR journey, and it does not mean every consultant or contractor becomes an EOR employee — the suitable structure depends on the assignment and applicable requirements.
