What does it cost to employ someone in Jordan?
For employers using Jordanian workers covered by the Labour Law, the statutory minimum wage is JOD 290 per month for the period from 1 January 2025 through 31 December 2027. Employment costs and obligations depend on the employee, compensation, applicable Social Security treatment and the employment arrangement, so we confirm the current requirements for each case before implementation.
